Useful decor apps

Dulux, Crown and other paint manufacturers have introduced Apps for showing your house interior in different colours, and they can be very useful. We’ve written about them before and you can find them in our News page.

But more Apps for Apple and Android phones take the process one stage further. We checked out a few of them here:

1. Colorfy Capture and Convert Colors

Take a picture of a colour you like, and Colorfy analyses it and gives its reference numbers in different formats which can compared to paint colours. It also shows related shades.

Price – Free for iOS and Android

2. Homestyler Interior Design

This App lets you visualise how a piece of furniture or fixture will look in your room. It lets you try out different looks by superimposing a 3D model of real furniture onto the snapshot of your living room.

You can also connect with actual designers, ask questions, or share designs in a gallery.

Price – Free for iOS and Android

3. Photo Measure

Photo Measure doesn’t actually measure your room, but it does let you superpose measurements onto a photo. You can save these on the app, and when you are out shopping furniture or curtains, pull out the app and check if the piece you have selected will fit in your space.

Price – £6.99 for iOS and £2.99 for Android
